Habitat for Humanity of Sarpy County

Habitat for Humanity of Sarpy County is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.

Don't forget to stop by our Fireworks stand at 10506 S. 15th St., next to Wal-Mart in Bellevue June 25th - 4th of July. Have a safe and happy 4th.

The farmhouse at 2522 Rose Lane has been refurbished and is now up for sale. For more information.

Because  the Sarpy  Habitat  receives no government  funding, it relies on donations of labor, cash, materials and services to build homes  for  economically disadvantaged  families.   Faith  based  communities, businesses, organizations, foundations and individuals provide the funding  necessary to build houses.  About  400  volunteer hours provide the labor. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses. For information on becoming a family partner, call us at 292-6560. Applicants must meet the Application Guidelines & are required to fill out the Application form if interested. We currently are not accepting applications. These forms require Acrobat® Reader®"
