Habitat for Humanity of Sarpy County Volunteer Information

All Volunteers:
The construction calendar is on the website, www.hfhsarpy.org (click on month) and is updated. People who wish to volunteer can find out when to work on the website. Volunteers should call the office to RSVP. Take the volunteer's information (number of volunteers, dates they want to work, and their phone numbers -local number if possible). All volunteers must complete volunteer application and sign waivers before working at the jobsite.

Work is from 8am to 3pm on Wed., Fri., & Sat.
Note: Construction work depends on the weather - if temperatures are below 20 degrees or above 100 degrees, work will cease.

   OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS:

    New Year's Day
    Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday (usually the third Monday in January)
    President's Day (usually the third Monday in February)
    Good Friday
    Memorial Day
    Independence Day
    Labor Day
    Thanksgiving and the day after
    Christmas

For holidays that are date driven rather than day (i.e. Christmas, New Year's, Independence), if the holiday falls on Saturday, we will be closed on Friday. If the holiday falls on Sunday, we will be closed on Monday. Decisions to honor half day closures for Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, etc., will be made on a year to year basis dependent on work load.
